Fruits of labour #28
Hi,
This week we did a Mongolian picnic with english teachers from 3rd school. We spent all day with them visiting; the Buddhist energy center, the holy mountain, and an archery competition.
We were honored to attend a 1st birthday, hair cutting ceremony. Each of us cut hair from the 1 year old ihk-uugin and gave her money. They fed us sheep's meat cooked from hot stones.
I promised my english class banana bread, but sainshand had no electricity for 2 days so my students were super upset. This week I'll make it up to them.
My comp and I were chillen on the ridge of a sand dune when a guy wearing a dew rag came driving up in his prius. The man gets out of his car (usually means trouble), then grabbed a Mongolian curd drink from the back seat and walked to us and gave it to us, then left promptly. We watched where he drove home and will return the favor tomorrow.
Yesterday I brought more banana bread to banana lady and she gave us fruits
. Also the "smile lady" has meet with us and she wants to keep taking lessons.

Spiritual thought: My mom recently shared this.
"When we have celestial goals, and we act think, and speak celestially God will pour on us celestial blessings"
The fullest blessings of God come only through abiding by His precepts. Being righteous, having pure thoughts, and speaking kindly.
Watching my brother especially has inspired me. Because of his righteous example, caring for and loving his wife and children, and following the covnent path his family has been blessed with joy.
In our church, we make promises to God; To follow Christ, to keep the commandments, to serve our neighboor, and to love our families.
Someday, I'd like to do the same. Seeing the example of aunts, uncles, cousins, my parents, and my siblings has shown me the way to live a beautiful life.
I beleive, If we give our will to God, he will in return give us a life more rewarding than we'd ever find on our own.
