Easter #75

Hey whats up everyone! Happy easter!!! What did yall do for easter!? Send pictures!!😄 Last week my companion had a fun time at zone conferences! That meant we didnt have the oportunity to much missionary work. But nonetheless I learned a lot and felt the spirit. Enguun got the gift of the holy ghost! Although he might have walked on the stage and started spining around like a helicopter in the middle of sacrament haha 😄 I got to reunite wiith Wlder Halgren for exchange! Great day... love Elder Halgren so so much!! Spiritual thought At general conference the tabernacle chior sang the new hymn "Welcome Home". I perticularly liked the words to the last verse... "The gates of heaven blaze with light. The savior beckons in robes of white. Arms outstretched, his table spread. Come to his feast; with love be fed." Imagery of a warm cottage, large feast, and a cozy fireplace come to mind. The savior beckons us to come enjoy rest the home of his father. These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. I like to think during this life, we can let the savior in... "behold, I stand at the door and knock". We must let him into our hearts, and offer him our food (desires, effort, and talents). This imagery has increased my appreciation for a weekly sacrmanent. By conciously partaking of the bread and water, we invite Christ to dwell in our life... and take a seat by the fireside our hearts. Love yall so much, Elder Bateman
