Getting to know Jesus. #63

Hello, I hope all is well at home. The updates are awesome, I love hearing from you guys! The mission is good. I can't complain. Every day I feel I have the chance to labour the greatest cause in the world. The cause of salvation, peace of the human soul, and joy of the family. Our recently baptized friend with Cerebral Palsy just injured his leg. He's the only member in his family. Since he can't walk rn, we made the hour trek to his house for the first time. We got to speak with his grandma and testify of eternal families. I lost it 😢😭 telling the grandma that If she's good on earth she'll live with her grandkids in heaven. I told her how I also lived with my grandma and that she had passed away 2 years ago. I felt the angelic love of my grandma as I taught. I know she smiles from above at the good, and is rooting me on when things get hard. My heart will forever be greatful for my beloved Grandma Leona. Spiritual thought “It is by loving, and not by being loved, that one can come nearest the soul of another" George MacDonald Not only by loving others do we grow closer to them, but we grow in the understanding of the Savior and our God. Through loving our fellow man, we begin to see our fellow beings as Christ sees them... beautiful and beloved children of God. Therin we become friends with Jesus, and begin to learn of the Father.
