Munkhdermberels Baptism #60

Hey Everyone! Our friend Munkhdemberel got baptized this week! So many people came to his baptism to support him. People are really catching the vision of rebirth and redemption through Christ. Another miracle is that one of my new friends is a Mongolian language teacher for students with learning disabilities. Turns out his he was Munkhdemberel's teacher for 4 years! He came to church for the first time with his wife and got to see Munkhdemberel recieve the gift of the Holy spirit and watch him share his testimony. 2 of the young men we work with received the priesthood which means they will get to baptize from now on. This week we had a day with 10 lessons. Shout out to my companion Elder Hall, we work super well together and have so much fun! 6:30am making banana bread, 10:30 done with studies and out the door we go! Spiritual thought George MacDonald in his sermon "Salvation from Sin" said this... "(I cry upon) the misunderstanding that comes from man's endeavor to understand while not obeying. (When on) obedience our energy (is) spent; understanding will follow." To understand truth with our heart we must experience the process of obedience. It's only upon experimenting upon the word of God, that we gain a witness of its truth. As my companion and I have concentrated every second of the day to the Lord, we've seen him work miracles. By our own strength we can do so little, but through his grace - great things come to pass. The joy of devotion is only experienced through the process of sacrifice. The joy of discipleship is only felt when we obey Christ whom we call master. The truth of his path can only be found by walking in it. Elder Bateman
