Visit from Putin #42

Hey Everyone, Right now as I right this email there are russian snipers posted on our roof. President Valdimir Putin is visiting a monument right next to our apartment. I'll try to take a picture. This week we worked sooo hard. Like everyday is a 16 hour day. 2 exchanges, lots of call ins, meetings, lessons, motivating our zone, zoom calls and contacting. Spiritual thought: Love Love is the greatest and alpine peak of all commandments. Why? Love motivates devotion. Love motivates sacrifice. Love motivates righteousness. Love motivates selfless service. Love of the Lord and fellow man is our most pure motivator. When we are filled with charity, we act in a Christlike manner. Why? Because God is love. And his only begotten son is full of love. We as Christians are motivated by the knowledge that we are "encircled about eternally in the arms of his love". 2 Nephi 1:15 Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life. I have felt his love, his forgiveness, and his divine goodness. I know when we give our heart to God, he fills us with his. Love, Elder Bateman
