Michaels Baptism #38
Hi everyone!
So 3 weeks ago we were playing billiards with our investigator Michael. It was my turn to go and I had a difficult shot to shoot.
I turned to Michael and said "If I make this you have to get baptized, deal?". He agreed and just 3 days ago Michael was baptized.
This baptism was super rewarding because we had to help Michael quit past habits. Super difficult, but he did it.
During his baptism, Michael cried multiple times. He was touched by everyone's love and we all felt that the spirit of the lord was present.
Michael said "I just feel like a new person" "I want to give my life to God" "this is an indescribable feeling"
Spiritual thought - that "indescribable feeling"
The apostle paul said sharing this "idescribable feeling" is "the... cause (for which) we faint not".
We labor to share this "indescribable feeling", to share the peace that comes from Christ. We labor to share the most important things, things that are not seen but are felt. We share things not found from the world, but only found from God.
"18 We look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal" - 2 Corinthians 4:18
The gospel changes lives, because it changes and touches our hearts.
Love, Elder Bateman
