Third Transfer in Sainshand #23
Hey Everyone!
Just finished getting trained! Here's what I learned from my trainer, Elder Schefer.
1. Just because you take the work seriously doesn't mean you have to take yourself seriously. While with Elder Schefer; we laughed hard, played hard, and worked hard. These are not mutually exclusive. To me devotion to God, and a good sense of humor go hand in hand. (Each helps you have the other)
2. Helping people come unto Christ is not merely gospel teaching. People are not robots. They need to laugh, feel your friendship and love. While with Elder Schefer, he showed me how to treat our friends. Wether playing UNO, wrestling with kids, teasing, laughing, joking around, and offering service... he treated our friends with charity.
Schefers' service emanated the spirit of God, the spirit of joy and love.
As my Grandma Bateman has written "The best sermon anyone can give, is their living example".
Love,
Elder Bateman
