Leaving Sainshand #29
|
After serving 18 weeks in the Gobi I've received a new assignment. I'll never forget the amazing church members here.
From 1000+ AQI, 10-15 miles a day of walking, planting trees, getting a young man ready for a mission, teaching english, teaching about Jesus Christ, and baking 70 loafs of banana bread I'm at peace with the efforts I poured in.
Now, I will serve in Han Uul. It's a nice part of Ulaanbaatar, on the edge of the city. I'm training Elder Stallard, we have no investigators, and still don't know what people say 75% of the time
. But we'll be fine, we will figure it out.

Because we have no investigators, our goal is to find 5 investigators this transfer. By some miracle, we found 1 and taught him our first day.
Anyway, I learned so much in Sainshand. I had a blast with both my companions. Each absolute studs. Most of all, I will never forget the love of the people. The common Love of God, bonds people together like nothing else.
Love, Elder Bateman
