Charity and Chasing camels #25
Hi!!
My companion is an avid runner so we enjoy morning runs. Last week, we decided to go run in the sand field until 2 miles out we ran into wild camels and chased them around. Had to be one of the most liberating feelings of my life.
Spiritual thought
"(Everyone) can be great... because anyone can serve" Martin Luthur King Jr.
To me, God recognizes the unseen service and rewards the selfless giver. When we serve for return, "we have our reward on earth".
It's 'Father McKenzie' writing his sermon 'no one will hear', and 'wiping the dirt from his hands as he walks from the grave'. It's the firefighters who ran up the twin towers, that others might live. It's the young man who bakes for and visits the widow. It's the malnourished POW who spares food for his friend. It's Father Damien who contracted and died of leprosy while caring for outcast lepers.
To me this charity.
"A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you..." John 13:34
