#19 Renovation...Duty

 Hey Everyone 

This week we have seen many miracles. Record 23 people at church! We have 5 new friends interested in the church, we transported water to people's homes, and one friend is ready to work towards baptism. Also the banana lady gave us 30 more bananas for banana bread, so that's a total of 78 bananas. 

In Sainshand, rent is paid every 6 months. One member's family couldn't afford their place so they were going to be evicted. But thankfully they were able to find a place where they get a free 3 years as long as they fix the place up. We have been helping them renovate so their living conditions will improve. 

Spiritual thought: Duty 

"Until willingness overflows obligation, men fight as conscripts rather than following the flag as patriots." Harry Emerson Fosdick

When devotion fills our hearts, our sacrifice to fulfill our duty becomes a privilege and a blessing. "He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake shall find it" That begs the question... What is our duty? What have we been called to do? 

Here's what Jesus asked us to do... "Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, soul, and mind" to "Love thy neighbor as thyself". Chist invited all to "Come Follow Me".

"Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the (orphans) and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world." James 1:27 

I know that as we follow Christ, we will find life, peace, and joy. Let us find joy in fulfilling our duty to love God and serve others. He lives, He loves you, He showed us the way.
